Women during the war

Women took over men's jobs while they were away at war. They were farming, nursing, police, and they also were working in factories helping make weapons. This was a big change because women usually didn't work those kind of jobs, they were only for the men. It changed women's rights from that point on. After World War 1 women actually started getting recruited as cooks, and technicians in the army. Women started to get the right to vote to because there weren't many men there to be able to vote.
